This Halloween was so much fun. Audrey dressed has her favorite mouse and looked so cute. This year she really seemed to understand the holiday from carving pumpkins to dressing up. On Halloween my parents took her to my school celebration called Trunk or Treat, where the kids visit the decorated trunks and receive candy. She loved seeing all the students dressed in costumes and seeing all the decorations. She especially enjoyed the lolli pop she got to have... the other candy she received mysteriously disappeared while she napped :)
On Halloween night I was able to leave work a little early and we got to trick or treat with her cousin, Julian. This was the first year Audrey got to go. She was so excited and she got the hang of it rather quickly. Audrey was not shy about it either... she was first at the door and even knew to say thank you. We only went to a few houses and then returned to our house to pass out candy. Audrey felt so proud passing out the candy and squealed when new kids came to the door. We really wanted her to pass out the candy and work on her sharing. Audrey did so good and could have cared less about eating the candy. It was a really fun night and I was so happy I got to enjoy the night with my family.
