This past Sunday we attempted a little hike in the foothills near our house. There is a small trail that leads to a cute little playground. So we set out, knowing it should take no more than ten minutes to arrive at the playground. Well almost 45 minutes later we realized we were lost... ha! During this time Audrey was not too happy that she wasn't at the playground yet...she had her heart set on seeing swings and slides. So Brian kept her entertained by looking for birds and lizards. She did pretty good for the most part. Poor thing was pretty exhausted by the time we reached the playground, I felt so bad. Next time we will prepare a little more for our hike... or at least know where we are going :)
