My Black Bag

My best friend :)

Let me tell you about my best friend. My little black bag and I became attached at the hip when I went back to work. This bag has helped me keep my baby formula free even while working full time for the past 8+ months. When choosing a brand, I loved the basic black bag this pump came with. I didn't want the kids at work wondering what was in the bag :) It even stores my milk all day in the cooler. I must say my breaks take on a whole new meaning now. No time for chit chat...break time to me means MAKE MILK  :) As Audrey gets older my days with the bag are numbered. I will no longer have to tote my bestie around. One less thing to carry :) this will be bittersweet. I plan to continue nursing and pumping till she can have milk or until I feel we are both ready. So for now my black bag and I are inseparable :)

Day one of vacation was awesome :) I could get use to this no working....I even cooked dinner :)

  1. Hey, I just found your blog. I loved this post. I really admire your devotion to breastfeeding your little one, even though it means pumping. Breastfeeding is a job in and of itself and pumping is also a job! You're a wonder woman for doing both. So happy for you and your little one. My LO and I are ten months strong. :) We. Love. It.

  2. Found you via Milk-Friendly (what a sweet husband!)... Love the blog! My daughter just turned 1, and I have been back at work for about three months now, pumping as well. My daughter has never had a drop of formula, and I'm very proud to say that. I plan to nurse her as long as she wants to, hopefully at least another year. So a long time still for me and my black bag!
