Awhile back I saw on pinterest DIY outdoor kitchens for kids... I thought this would be perfect for Audrey since she loves being outdoors and loves to cook. I mentioned this one morning to my husband and boom...two hours later it was finished. We took the following weekend to paint it pink and when she woke up from her nap we surprised her with it. I am thankful for my husband and how handy he is, this skill is so useful and saves money. All of the wood was from scraps and the paint was from a previous project. Also, homemade things are just better and more from the heart.
